Happy New Year late

I hope everyone has had a great beginning to 2007. For the most part ours has been going pretty well. We decided on Monday after on appointment with an ear doctor that Braden will be getting tubes. The procedure is set for February 1st. While we were at the appointment the doctor noted that Braden still had fluid on his ears and was beginning another ear infection, so he is once again on antibiotics. We are really hoping that the tubes will take care of it. Last weekend we had our second ice storm since November. While we were luckily and only lost power for a couple of hours many others were not so lucky. I am grateful that we have no full grown trees in our yard so we didn't have to worry about limbs breaking and falling under the weight of the ice. Last night we got probably 4-5 inches of snow but I will take that over the ice any day.

On to more positive news, last week Braden moved up to the toddler room from the baby room. He seems to really like it. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is trying to say words and sometimes you can almost make out what he is saying....it is usually what we are trying to get him to repeat, like please and thank you. Though for thank-you he uses sign language that he learned at day care. Very cute. We finally got his 1 year pictures taken on Monday--only 2 months late. Better late than never. I will post them once we get them back.

Well I better get going. I hope you are all surviving the winter weather I know many of you are getting. Talk to you soon.
