It's getting colder....

It is hard to believe that it is October already. Braden will be 1 in 6 weeks and sometimes it seems like he just got here. Our little man has had several firsts in the last month. He cut his first tooth, he starting pulling himself up at the couch, he can sit up by himself from laying on his back and started saying Ut-oh (which is incredibly cute). He is scooting all over the house, we can't keep him in one room anymore. It is just amazing everything he is doing now and so much fun to play with. Last weekend he stayed with Grandma Susan and Grandpa Lester for several days. He apparently was very good even though we weren't there but he came back to us very spoiled. That's ok though. That is what grandparents are supposed to do, right? Needless to say our little man is the joy of our lives and we can't imagine not having him.

Some of you have asked how my friend Paul's wife was doing. She is doing well. Still in the hospital but things right now are going pretty well. She will be 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow so the prayers are helping so please keep them up.

There are, however, some prayers needed in the Creech family. A couple of weeks ago Nick's uncle found out he has acute leukemia. He went into the hospital and after several days was put into ICU due to a lung condition that they are still unsure about. While in ICU they had to put him in a drug-induced coma and then his kidneys started to fail. Now he is on dialysis. They are trying to get the lung issue resolved so they can move him to a bigger hospital to deal with the leukemia. He and his family are definitely in need of some prayers. He is only 61 and has a wife, 2 girls who are married and 4 grandchildren.

Well I better get going and give Mr. Braden a bath. I am hoping that tonight he will go to sleep before 10:00, which he has been doing for several nights now. There are new pictures posted in the October album if you want to take a look.

Thank you to everyone who is praying for our friends and family. I know that it is very much appreciated.
