Happy Holidays

I can't believe that Christmas is over already. We had a great time in Iowa visting with the family. Even in Iowa Santa was able to find Braden and Brianna. Grandpa Lester and Grandma Susan of course spoiled the kids to no end. In fact every time I put Braden down today he would start crying because he was so used to be held this weekend. We hope everyones holidays were as great as ours. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable New Year. All of the Christmas pictures are under Braden #1

4 weeks

It is hard to believe that Braden has already been here for 4 weeks, it seems like he has been around for much longer. Not too much has happened around here this week. Nick and I went to a Christmas party last night and Grandma Terry watched Braden. It was very nice to be out among adults if only for a short time but of course we were glad to come home to our little guy.

Up and running

We have finally figured out how to get our pictures on the website. You can click on Braden's photos to see our pictures. These actually go back to before Relay for Life so there are a lot of them.

Braden's doctor's appointment went well. He is now 10 pounds 8 ounces. He is quite the little bruiser. He is a little a stubborn about going to bed at night but once he does go to sleep he just wakes up for his bottles. I guess we are pretty lucky there.

We are looking forward to going to Iowa for Christmas next Thursday. Needless to say the best gift we could ever have received was our little boy. He is our pride and joy.

3 Weeks Old

We have decided to start a website like Amber and Bob because Mom has finally pestered us enough :o) This is totally new to us so it may take awhile to get the hang of it. Braden is doing really well. He seems to be older than 3 weeks -he is so alert and is able to hold his head up pretty well on his own. He has a check-up tomorrow, hopefully it goes well. Nick and I left Braden with his mom and dad on Friday so that we could do some Christmas shopping. It was the first time we left him but I think we both handled it ok.
